Old Vine Marechal Foch is estate grown. The vines are over 50 years old producing less fruit however more concentrated flavours. This unique wine spends 2 years in American oak. On the nose there are earthy notes with leather and hints of black current and black pepper. The palate is complex with black currents, dark cherries and subtle earthy flavours.
A dry, full-bodied red. Fruit is produced from over 50-year-old vines on our estate. Aromas of cherry, coconut and vanilla on the nose with hints of black cherry, raspberry and vanilla on the palate. Pairs well with beef, pizza and tomato-based sauces.
“The Warren” is 100% estate grown fruit that is a blend of Riesling, Siegerrebe (A German variety with similar characteristics of gewürztraminer) and L’Acadie Blanc. It is interesting with unique floral aromas and on the palate and it is nicely balanced.
The 2018 Cabernet Franc is 100% estate grown from younger vines which is evident in the nose and palate with fresh vibrant fruit. On the nose complex dark cherry with subtle herbs and hints of leather and chocolate. On the palate subtle flavours of leather with dark cherry, raspberry and hints of oak.
Dry with perfectly balanced fresh acidity. Aromas of citrus and ripe orchard fruit on the nose. Flavours of white peach, apricot, pear and a hint of toasted spice on the palate. Pairs well with pork, poultry, seafood, sushi, salads, antipasto and soft cheeses.
The 2018 L’Acadie Blanc is an American Hybrid. It is one of the only hybrids to be designed in Ontario at the Vineland Research Centre. It is extremely winter hardy, at the time it was planted it was planted as experiment to see if it could adapt to our harsh winters. The results of this experiment produced a uniquely pleasant wine that appeals to those with an exceptional palate.
